About the author:
Harold W. G. Allen
Harold Allen's great
interest in philosophy began at the age of fifteen when illness rather abruptly
raised the issue of possible life after death. An avid reader of
scientific articles, he soon realized that the theory of evolution flatly
contradicted traditional biblical views. It was merely a question of time
until the author became engaged in a lifelong search for a new perspective in
harmony with scientific evidence. This study eventually resulted in a
highly promising theory of Cosmic Reincarnation.
In the course of his research, Mr. Allen managed to acquire
considerable insight into such fields as astronomy, cosmology, physics,
philosophy, biology and social issues. He is also a noted authority on
biblical symbolism, having given a number of public lectures on this
subject. His first book, Ye Shall Know The Truth, was praised as
a major step in uniting science and religion. A second work, The Edge
of the Universe, constituted a bold attempt to introduce certain
legitimate (but highly radical) cosmological views into the text of what was
basically a science fiction mystery! Together, these two endeavors were to
provide a nucleus for such later revolutionary treatises as Higher
Perspective, The Eternal Universe, and Cosmic Perspective.
(Another recent work, The Face on Mars, also presents essentials of his
discoveries within the context of a rather captivating science fiction
plot.).
Long an advocate of movements dedicated to enhancing public
knowledge of astronomy (for 17 years a member of the Royal Astronomical Society
of Canada), the author is a native of Toronto, Canada.
